Overview

[177Lu]Lu-DTPA-A″-CHX-αCD133 is a **radiolabeled monoclonal antibody conjugate** designed for targeted radioimmunotherapy. It consists of the αCD133 antibody (targeting the cell surface antigen CD133) conjugated via a DTPA-A″-CHX chelator to the beta-emitting radioisotope Lutetium-177. The compound targets CD133, a protein overexpressed on many cancer stem cells and various tumors, including small-cell lung cancer (SCLC). Upon binding to CD133-positive cells, it delivers localized beta particle radiation, resulting in DNA damage and cell death, with demonstrated dose-dependent anti-tumor effects in preclinical models. It is being developed primarily for cancer indications where CD133 is a relevant biomarker, especially SCLC[1][4].
